Here’s how it works…

I devise a schedule for a set amount every year in order to maintain a healthy creative/work/life balance.  As you can imagine, summer/fall is by far the busiest time, so if you were considering something for the holidays, it’s best to get in touch early.

I generally work from photographs. The best photographs for portrait or figure paintings are taken in natural light with strong shadows. I will gladly work with you to choose the best reference for your project.

As each commission has its own unique requirements, pricing is quoted for the individual project. But I can give you a few general guidelines.

All works are entirely painted in artist grade oils.

The minimum size available is an 18×24 on gallery canvas or wood panel.

A $50 deposit is required to secure your spot in the schedule (this will then be applied to the painting deposit.)

A 40% deposit is due with the signed contract before the work begins.

The remaining 60% is due on delivery.

Depending on the time of year,  you should plan on the project taking 4-8 weeks from quote to delivery.

Once the commission spots are spoken for they are gone, but I would be happy to add you to the waitlist should something become available.
